Curious about clay or want to try something new? This workshop introduces you to hand building with clay.
This workshop uses bench based, hand building techniques such as pinching and moulding clay and making slabs to shape over forms. Adding lugs, handles and feet, using botanical elements to add impressed decoration, be as creative and playful as you like. Fired and finished with our glossy transparent glaze.
Suitable for adults 18+
Duration 2.5 hours with support from a friendly expert
Includes: one pot per person ready to collect in 4-6 weeks, all materials, glazing & x2 firings
Tools, equipment and aprons will be provided, please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed shoes
